Also the starting point of the Olympic torch relay.<\/li><li><strong>Temple of Zeus:<\/strong>\u00a0To honor God Zeus. The temple used to house one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Chryselephantine statue of Zeus by Pheidias.<\/li><li><strong>The Philippeion<\/strong>: dedicated by Philip II, King of Macedon, himself an Olympic champion in chariot racing.<\/li><li><strong>Stadium of Olympia<\/strong>: with a 192.28 m length and a 45,000 spectators capacity was the greatest stadium in Ancient Greece.<\/li><li><strong>Prytaneion<\/strong>: the seat of the government in Ancient Greece as also the place the ceremonies to honor the winners took place.<\/li><li><strong>Olympia\u2019s archaeological museum<\/strong>: You will find collections cross 12 halls and over 3,500 years of history. There you will have the time to visit 3 monasteries.<\/li><li>Time for\u00a0<strong>lunch<\/strong>\u00a0to taste the local greek cuisine.<\/li><li>On our way back to Athens we make our last stop at\u00a0<strong>Thermopylae<\/strong>\u00a0or \u201cHot Gates\u201d.
