Description
In this tour you will explore a selected number of some of Athens’ famous highlights as also the Canal Corinth and Ancient Corinth. A 1 ½ hour beautiful drive from Athens we will reach our destination. This tour is ideal either you stay in Athens or have some hours layover (cruiseship stop).

- Temple of Olympian Zeus: One of the biggest sanctuaries in Greece in Corinthian order dedicated to god Zeus.
- Old Olympic Stadium (Kallimarmaron): The first Modern Olympic Games took place here in 1896. Also the finishing line of the 2004 Olumpics Marathon race.
- Lycabettus hill: The highest point of the city providing amazing scenery for breathtaking photos.
- Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (Changing of the guards): A ritual taking place every hour all year long in front of the greek Parliament.
- Canal of Corinth: A 6 km long Canal connecting the Peloponnese peninsula with the mainland.
- Ancient Corinth: In the archaeological area you will see ruins of where the city of Ancient Corinth used to be, one of the wealthiest city states in Ancient Greece.In the museum you will find statues, mosaics, pottery and other artifacts from that era.
